Do centrifugal juicers destroy vitamins through friction?

I read a couple years ago that they do. Would'nt this also mean that blenders also do? I have read that blending is the best thing for you because it releases "phytochemicals" but I've been leaning towards geting a triturating or masticating juicer lately. I am summoning the Juice Guru.

No, these juicers do not damage vitamins. Vitamins tend to be small molecules and the type of friction caused by any kind of juicer is not likely to destroy anything like that. Heat and chemical interaction are more likely to do that.
The fresher the juice, the better the vitamin content.
