Sunday Television..?

I just moved in To a new house and have yet to get cable or satellite... so i am stuck watching attenae tv... why is sunday morning and afternoon television the absolute worst... infomercials all day... i saw the jack la lane juicer, the leg magic, the land rider, john tesh dvds, some roll up key board... just to name a few... any ways why does sunday television programming suck so bad...?

Because Sunday is very low in viewership. TV stations sell time based on the viewers they can deliver. If few people are viewing at that time, then most advertisers don't want to place their commercials there. What you are seeing are the only people willing to spend money for those few viewers. This is also the reason you see infomercials at 2 am.

I agree, infomercials are eventually self defeating. The stations sell them to fill the time because there aren't the viewers. But after the viewers get used to the idea there's nothing to watch during that time, they stay away and the cycle continues. So, hopefully they can eventually find something better to go there. It's better all around.
